2 or 3 years ago we stocked up on some sugar...
the supply is down per my wife... we paid about 50 cents per pound...

today, we started restocking... cost was 90 cents per pound at our local country grocery store..
i hope we can do better at sams!!

I have almost stopped cooking and baking due to circumstances beyond my control: notably ongoing construction inside the house and my husband's changing tastes. I've stocked up on a lot of ingredients and have been canning every week, and now there's nowhere to put any more until construction is done!😂

Sugar here is running about $0.72/lb for a 25 lb bag. Watch for sales as we get closer to Thanksgiving.
