  • fairlife protein drink

it's gotten hot... my outdoor requirements are heavy right now..
    --
recently found a couple of packs of fairlife nutrition plan 30g protein drinks. 11.5 oz each.. i put some in the fridge.

we don't have much "storage food" strong trust and faith in walmart taking care of what we need!!

and the storage food we do have is on the order of dried beans etc... not real tasty.
my wife denies buying the fairlife.. i'm sure i didn't. we don't know how it got in the house or when..
    but,
    what a treat...
ours is vanilla. i don't know if there are other flavors..
tastes like vanilla ice cream... after a hard day and i'm wasted. yahoo...

going to get us some, if the price isn't outrageous...
    bottle says refrigerate after opening..
the bottle says "best by may 26, 21. " so it must store well?

This begs a great question. I’ve heard protein “isolates” are what you want with protein supplements. Many of the powders mix in water. As a powder or vacuum sealed, it should last some time.

The Fairlife protein shakes aren't too bad from a nutrition standpoint, although the sucralose and maltodextrin aren't the best sweeteners IMO. Still, net carbs are around 3g, which is just slightly higher than other protein shakes like Premier Protein (2g net carbs). If you're lactose intolerant, these are iffy but they do add lactase to counter the lactose. Pricewise, the Fairlife shakes 4-packs are about $.75 cheaper than other brands.
