ANY ONE STORED ANY PEANUTS?

has anyone stored any peanuts,roasted,salted and still in shell? i would think in mylar bags in buckets w/O2 absorbers..any one add to or have any ideas?? i sure like dem goobers

Aren't peanuts high in oil? Might be easier to just grow a few plants every year and keep the cycle going then store a bunch???

My son loves boiled peanuts, so this summer I bought a 50# bag of raw peanuts. The secret is to freeze them. They last a very long time! Several years. The dry ones will also last a long time. Eventually they will spoil however.

First boil them as if you were going to eat them,then freeze them.They will last a very long time.I used to make salty and cajun boiled peanuts and sell them on the roadside.When you want to eat some of them,you need to add salt or season that you like and bring them to a rolling boil then turn them off and as they cool,they will suck the season into them.Hope this helps.
