Post deals you find and DATE them.

It's 2020, the SHTF and we are looking at the specter of "Joe and the Hoe" in November so know you got to move quick on any deals anyone posts.


I'll start off-

Palmetto State Armory has a great deal on .50 cal- 1 to 4 linked ball with tracer. 100 rounds $349.99
I don't own a .50 but if I did, this would be a great deal.


Need/want-

Could use to put back another 2-3K rounds of quality 5.56 so we can continue to train with them regularly as well.

Don't be afraid to check your LGS. I went into a LGS just Tuesday and they had Magpul 27 round 9mm magazines for $19.99 I asked how many and they said one. I bought some more ammo...I always try and pick up .22ir when I see it and they has two 325 round boxes which I purchased. The guy behind the counter said an ammo shipment came in that morning and they weren't expecting it. The customers in the store at the time bought all the 9mm. I chatted some with the clerk and found out they had some Ruger 25 round magazines as well, so I bought three. He the said, oh wait...I might have more of those Magpuls in the back. He "found" four more so I bought them. When asked about weapons, he said they had about 5 G-19's and a lot of other stuff. They still had AR mags as well. He said that even before the COVID crisis they had stocked up on magazines as it was an election year. Walked out with some ammo, magazines for two weapons and the transfer weapon I bought from Buds Guns online.

Also a good online source for ammo is ammoseek.com They give real time inventory of several stores.

gander mountain in dothan alabama (converting? to campers world? ) has heavily stocked ammo shelves with heavily inflated prices..

LGS...local gun store.

I always look online first, then hit up one or two local gun stores and see what they have/have not...and then proceed. I have found one in my area that seems to do things right....so, I will give them my money first before online as long as the price is similar....

SgAmmo is a good source and only seems to have raised prices just a bit so far. I've already heard horror stories of .75 a round or so for .223 Which could very well become common place as we get closer to the election.

I wish i had more to get more trigger time in with this new space gun that needs special ouls and ammo to work perfectly...lol

Thanks for the heads up...it is a flat plate but its BOGO for $65, so if you don't have Level III plates flat is better than none....

SGAmmo yesterday seemed to BRIEFLY have 1,000 rounds of 5.56 going at $599.99 a case.

I looked at it for a minute, laughed and then went to checkout and they were sold out. Probably did myself a favor, but interesting to note how fast things sell out.

Case of x39, some 20 gauge shotgun shells, 9mm luger, .40 S&W - all on order. This will take some creative stacking on top of current stock:rolleyes:

NO, everybody needs more (quality) shoes/footwear.
With the cloth items everybody is wearing on their feet, when the hard times hit, those sneakers will wear out and be totally worthless except for throwing at the hungry dogs coming by.

I have a 4-shelf rack full of shoes that includes 4 pairs of sandals and the rest are leather and heavy canvas. I have a couple pairs of good leather boots. Plantar fasciitis drives my footwear so I can stay on my feet😀
