    It's blurry? LOL

I don't recall the barrel being designed to stick out like that, barring an extended barrel for a suppressor.

Has a threaded barrel on it.

The trigger would not reset. Happened multiple times when trigger control was done with good follow through.

This is my newest Glock, with only a couple thousand rounds through it.

It could be that it was not cleaned or lubricated at all yet. However my first 26 went 7,500 rounds without cleaning or lubrication- till Protus shamed me into cleaning it at an Armorer's class..... LOL

I cleaned the 17 the other day and will likely shoot it sometime the next few days. If it happens again I have to assume their is some difference in the "4th generation" models???

My baby Glocks keep working fine with little maintenance, thousands of rounds through each and little care. I'm wondering WTH is different with this full size?

Well, it's possible that some trash was left in the weapon during/after assembly...wouldn't be the first time. Or possibly a rough mating surface that may smooth out with time and wear. Or trigger reset spring not installed properly.

Regardless, I'd be taking a close look at the innards and see what is going on before your 17 turns into an 18 at the police range ;)

Well...that dirt probably is cleaner than the inside of that 17 I bet........

          ;p

I'd check that whole trigger /crucifix area for debris. Also check those pins..make sure they didn't back out etc etc.

The guts looked only slightly different than our older generation 26's. And everything looked fine when I cleaned it. Will know next time I shoot it.

If anything its in danger of becoming a 16 1/2 lol. I had to flick the trigger back forward to reset it. It would only FIRE ONCE but if you kept proper follow through the trigger was not resetting like it should have.

What about that small spring under the crucifix ? Or the bad along the inside edge. Sorry ..can't recall the name of it. And I don't have my 17 in front of me at the second.

I don't think GLOCK now is like the old GLOCK... Their quality control is slipping and have some design issues with GEN4...
