  • Any Experience with Arsenal Folder

I'm thinking of picking up an Arsenal SLR-107FR but was wondering how well the folding stock works. Does it lock up solid, no wobble, length of pull etc.?

    Thanks

We have a few shares of those in our Kalashnikov Concern :0 Folding stock is rock solid, no wobble.

Not 100% sure what you mean by length of pull? Stock length is pretty standard for an AK.

The folding stock is handy for hiding the rifle and for traveling.

You won't go wrong with that rifle.

You did read the note at K-VAR about those were the only SLRs they would have in 2016 right?

Thanks for the quick reply LD.
What I meant by length of pull was some of the AKs I see now come with an American made stock that is longer, supposedly for the US market. I've seen some marketed that say "warsaw" length of pull which is what I prefer.

I have a Norinco underfolder and I like how compact it is folded but getting a cheek weld on an underfolder takes some practice. That's why I thought the Arsenal folder might work better.

I hadn't seen any announcement by K-var but I did see an interview from the shot show by Rob Ski of AK operators union that said the SLR-107's would be the only ones coming in this year.

I was going to pick one up at AIM this week but saw today they've sold out again.

      Thanks again.

You can order them right from K-var also and have them shipped to a local dealer.
