  • Single Point sling for my M1 .30 Carbine

I like the .30 Carbine as a self defense weapon. Light weight, very reliable, fairly accurate, adequate cartridge for most uses. I have several, including a very nice correct folding stock Paratrooper model.
The one that I use most often, is a Quality Hardware (Rockola barrel). I have an Ulitmak rail on it, and a little Bushnell TRS 25 dot sight. It is good for three inch groups at 78 or 80 yards, shooting rapid fire, standing up.
I wanted to add a better sling, and decided on the Blackhawk single point sling adapter, and one of their bungee single point slings. Cost was moderate, I think less than $40 for both pieces.
I am pleased with how it attaches, and with having the ability for true hands off sling carry, yet retain the ability for rapid employment.

Is it awkward when you walk? Does it bang around on your leg?
