Well, two sets of fingerprints later, I got my concealed permit. Electronic fingerprints do not work well for me. I had to get a deputy to rescan them and sign an affidavit that I was me!

In Florida the permit is good for 7 years!

I took it five years ago, and it was $200 then. The class was $100, and the permit itself was $65, then there was $35 for the Sheriff's beer fund. Renewal was $50. They're good for 3 years here.

I didn't know it was so expensive.
It probably differs from state to state but that would be a good deal to me..
Going with a local class and instructor mine will be $195.00 and it will be twice that because My wife is taking the course with me.
Looking around from here to the biggetr City's it just goes up..found one place that was as high as $325.00

I took a class in Utah last year and it was about $160, by the time filing fees and such were added. Good luck in the class.

I took my CW class in 1988 and finally sent it in last year. When they tried to get my prints electronically, it couldn't get them. so it had to be the old ink method. It's worth the $$ just so that you have it.
