Less Lethal Live Rounds (chili pepper filled ball)

so I was thinking of adding this to my arsenal http://www.amazon.com/Lethal-Rounds-...s=pepper+balls and was wondering if this is a good idea or would I just be asking for trouble if I use this.

Me personally Im not real big on the paintball gun pepper ball concept. I certainly see a need for a less lethal alternative because in reality you won't always be morally justified in killing someone. I prefer 12ga bean bag rounds, taser x26 or C2, or a large can of OC. You have to be prepared though that less lethal is nothing more than a option and you must be prepared mentally and fully willing to escalate force to the lethal level.

I have several lethal options and I also have two tasers but I wanted something to deter at range instead of them having to be right on top of me. the two tasers I have are both within punch/knife range for use. and a 12ga bean bag round would hurt but would not stop them.

Have you ever been hit or seen someone hit with a beanbag round?? By taser I am referring to a actual taser the kind that fires darts into you and shuts down your electrical system. One of the issues with the pepper ball is you need to hit them in the upper chest to get good delivery of the agent into the face area and it's another large cumbersome device I have to keep. For me at least I'd rather go with other options

Not a fan of the paintball gun idea. I don't want to have worry about transitioning from a paintball gun to another weapon if the situation escalates. I'd rather have a 12ga with a couple bean bag rounds or rocks salt followed by #4 or 00 buckshot in the event the bean bags or rock salt did not get target's attention.

BTW, if bean bags can't get somebody's attention then I seriously doubt little paint balls filled with chili powder will have any affect on them.

? I know it is a older thread ,BUT does anyone make a shot gun shell filled with CS or Hot pepper flakes, I suppose you could reload your own using foam wads so they would fall away. I had years ago 38 spec loaded with a good amount of CS held in place by card board, They worked, never hung around for the long term results but short term IT WORKED.
