Last TWO times I bought an AR that turned out to not work, I gave away hundreds in mags, spare parts and accessories to buddies..

Painted it today, here's some pics-

Boy did that ring true. Just after Christmas I completed a custom built AR platform on a Rock River with two stage trigger, chrome bolt assembly, custom barrel, bullet drop scope with an EOTECH back up sight system. Got through and it did not work. The mags will not latch up correctly so it becomes a nice single shot rifle. Still trying to fix the thing. A guy paid me off a debt with the lower so i felt compelled to use it for the build. Stupid choice. GB

Agreed. I prefer the AK platform, but having AR's just rounds out the collection. :D

Good diversification! Of course you know this and recognized the business need to do this or else you wouldn't still be in business 20+ years later. I pray that you get the ROI faster :)

Don't be embarrassed for making a business decision that is bringing in more money on the sales of NV and in private training classes (this provides you with an opportunity to evangelize the AK platform you very sneaky!!)

Unfortunately, it is a real ROCK RIVER. I even bought a Rock River upper to match it doing the build myself. I used a high end chrome bolt and the head space was right on. I have to laugh at myself. I already had a preban Colt and a Competition Aramlite and a factory built Rock River. I guess I just let the build become a fun project before I realized how much fun was costing me. LOL

I say we all chip in and buy Lowdown3 a Lego set. Maybe that will exorsize the demons.
On a brighter note, I fired an AR the other day for the first time in almost 44 years, and you know what? They still make that noise next to your ear. BOINGGGG!! BOINGGG!!
