Have gunshow prices come down at all to remotely reasonable levels? Haven't been to a show in prolly six months or more.

Are we seeing a return to somewhat normalcy at shows at all yet?

Specifically the Southeast region but anyone in the country can chime in. Prices pulled back from ginormously ridiculous to just slightly ridiculous?

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

Haven't been myself in over a year, but from what friends tell me, it's still stupid to fully moronic especially for ammo prices. Mags and rifles are still at about 10-15% higher than retail.

I was at the last one here in Deland a few months ago. They had more ammo but some was still high, gun prices have come down some but AR's are still up there. Ammo is slowly coming back to Wallyworld, but goes fast when it gets there. 2weeks ago I was able to get 2 boxes of 22s and last weekend I able to 6 boxes of 9mm(I got3 other half got 3). And for once it wasn't so crowded you could walk around without being bumped to death.

Sadly, some of the same jackwagons that are buying ammo at Wal-Mart are the same ones jacking the prices up 50% and selling it at the gun shows. I've heard of a few not even taking the Wallyworld price tags off before reselling it.

Gun show prices on mags, and guns are pretty much back to pre-stupid. There are still the morons who are trying to sell stuff at panic prices but they don't get many takers. Ammo- Wally had xm855 for $450 per thousand yesterday as well as a pretty good supply of pistol ammo at good prices. They had 0 22lr stuff but the lady said there was some on the shelf until about 7pm on Friday. Prices are coming down and supply is going up in my neck of the woods.

in the west ammo prices are still up slightly with the exception of 22lr its still very high. Magazines are at 10%-15% above last year as are most guns. Inventory is starting to increase for all items BUT 22lr. M855 lake city is running $490 while standard 55gr stuff is in the $440 and up area.. I just picked up 2k of Winchester 55gr and 1k tula 7.62x39 hp this last weekend. I DONT pay retail and I can tell you that distributors have not dropped prices very much to the retailers. You might be surprised to know that mark up on what i bought is running in the 10% to 25% range... thats slim margin for a retail store.. even at the gun shows thats not much profit...
