Gotta love marketing.
Right now it is a "Safety Alert". Not a recall, not a warning, just a "heads up". Could it happen to this pistol or any pistol, sure. Is it a problem if it happens, you bet. If Smith viewed it as a danger to shield owners, then they need to step up and say so.
Not saying to go Ralph Nader on it, but if there is an issue; step up. This vague lawyer, "this could happen, watch this video as to how" stuff is getting old. Is it a problem that needs our attention or not.
And yes; I own a shield. -
