For FOF training. Need a recommendation on reliable dealer or Toyko Mauri quality metal airsoft AK. Preferably they would also take paypal as I have cash sitting there :)
TIA
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"
Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"
Once I figured out that you had to turn a little crank at the bottom of the magazine to wind the spring, it worked great and has functioned well. The mag holds 600 and we've re-filled it several times now.
It's fairly accurate to about 75 yards. The selector switch works correctly and that adds to the fun. Everything else functions like a normal AK. It will pierce cardboard targets at 20 yards and bounces cleanly off plastic targets.
Nothing wrong with this model, but I may eventually buy another manufacturer's version of the AK in airsoft just to see differences, etc.
The Echo1 is a great value for the dollars. Someone in suburbia could practice basic manipulations, movement with the rifle, etc. and probably not freak out the neighbors (if you had a privacy fence I guess LOL).
