With all the panic buying and hysteria, there have been quite a few good deals that have come across my path. I have a CETME .308 that is more HK than Cetme and it does the job well, but it is a heavy son of a gun (pun intended. ;) ) Anyway, I came across a guy wanting cash for a bushmaster Ar-10. After talking and haggling he ended up giving the rifle w/extras, 1000 7.62x39 rounds, 600 .22 lr rounds, 400 .22 winmag rounds, 100 .308 rounds, and 2 magazines. How much at todays pricing model would you pay for this? I got it all for 1800 bucks. Now that is a lot of chedda for sure, but I now have enough winmag to make my Keltec PMR-30 a viable weapon come SHTF. Picked up the ammo my daughter will use at the Appleseed event this weekend. Got a battle load times 3 for the AK, and picked up a long range stopper. People talk about stopping an engine block, etc. and I can only think of the time that my firebird I drove in my youth got a hole in one of the hoses and the engine stopped about 2 blocks later. Good enough for me. I love it when I luck up on something like this. Now all I have to do is pick up a quality scope.

For the record, I am glad I got this stuff off the street. At the next buyback program, I will trade all this stuff in for an Xbox.

Used to roll quite frequently with a dude recovering from a messy divorce. Now it is real comfortable to stand on while reloading. ;)

That dude was 150 lbs soaking wet, but a 2nd degree bb in karate and a brown belt in jj will even the playing field ALOT!!! Those extra 40-50 lbs I have on him had a special name...."Blob Defense". I could man-handle him and muscle thru some submission attempts for a while but eventually I would make a mistake and I would be tapping out in a hurry. Best part was my daughter (12) now, putting him in a triangle choke by accidently uppercutting him with her knee when she went for the choke. She is SUPER flexible and she pulled her knees up past a butterfly guard and hit him under the chin snapping his head back and in that instant she wrapped him and started applying pressure. The look on his face was priceless, but better yet the look on her face was awesome...lightbulb ON!!!
