There wasn't very much at all at the show in Seguin. Absolutely NO ammo. Not one box. Someone there first thing in the morning bought up some VERY used aluminum mags for $20 a piece. There weren't any ARs on tables except for an AR type shotgun in .410. They wanted $1000 for it. There was an PKM type AK knock off there for $1100. One table had some higher end 1911's for sale, Les Baer, Kimber, Colts, those prices were about par. $1000 to $2000.
A friend of mine went to the show in Robstown. He saw a low end AR for $1500. Stripped AR lowers were $300, they were $100 a month ago. I bought some m855 three weeks ago for $500. Today the same ammo was $800. There was also 1000 rnds of 55 gn .223 for sale for $900.
Saw a stripped lower on Armslist the other day going for $350. It's a standard Palmetto State Armory that probably was bought for $80-100. And the sad fact? It sold within 12 hours at that price.
Even with Cheaper than Dirt charging double and quadruple what P Mags were going for less than three days prior, they still sold out within a day.
Glad I started early. Not bragging, but pretty happy I got in early with the deals.
Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.

All in all, I'd say things are nuts.
i just paid $135 for 520 rounds of 7.62x39. I thought that was high!
I went to a show today in San Antonio. I wasn't needing anything but my Dad needed me to drive him so I went. Anyway...
There was 1000 rounds of 556 M855 for sale for....wait for it....
$1200. Twelve hundred dollars. People are insane.
There were a few flat top, optic ready, no sights whatsoever AR's for $1700.
There were Romanian AKs there for $1500. AR10 that I saw was "optic ready" for $3600. Pistols were about the same.
There was a guy there, sorry I mean a crook, selling stripped Noveske lowers for $600. That guy was a solid crook.
I sure hope this craziness passes, but I'm not sure it will.
