    Hi all,

I was wonderin how many (if any) of you shoot CMP highpower matches?

Of those that do or know someone who does, what is their course of fire?

For us it is a total of 80 rounds/match.
20 rounds for standing slow fire - 20 rounds in 20 minutes, single round load.
20 rounds for sitting rapid fire - two stages of 10 rounds w/ mag change in 60 seconds.
20 rounds for prone rapid - two stages of 10 rounds in 70 seconds w/ mag change.
20 rounds for prone slow fire - 20 rounds in 20 minutes single round load.

I ask because we are thinking of changing it up a bit for next season and was curious about what others do around the country. Also I wanted to try to drop the cost of doing the matches in an attempt to gain more shooters. Most of the time when we try to get others from the area gun clubs to participate they are very interested until they see how many rounds we shoot per match and then shy away.

I like the 50 round NM Course

10 awful er off hand at 200
      10 sitting rapid at 300
      10 prone rapid at 300
      20 prone slow at 600

there is also the "garand" course
      10 prone slow
      10 prone rapid
      10 offhand

      we do that at 200
