    The neatest looking stock I've seen on an AK I saw down in Houston a while back. It was one of the Magpul CAR type stocks- the triangular type on an AK. I think Rumple had a pic of a an AR with one on there.

    FWIW, everyone told me the cheap $50. Tapco CAR15 type stock wouldn't hold up, but it's held up fine for 3 years on one of mine.

      I fixed my stock problem with a cheek riser from www.AMD65tech.com It cost me $30, really speeds up sight picture. And I gave it a paint job.

        That is a NICE paintjob! It must be the closest thing I've seen to "Robflage" yet. Awesome!

        I paint things VERY similiar to that and folks that know me always called the pattern "Robflage" as a joke.

        They stopped making fun of it when they couldn't spot those hidden targets on jungle lanes that were "Robflaged" though ;)

          What type of paint did you use?

            base coat of the entire rifle was PlastiKote Engine enamel states it resists temperatures up to 500 degrees F. then after that was completley dry i did the camo stripes ect with a desert brown color just off brand camo paint for that. the base coat was Cummins Beige.

              Nice I have a bolt gun i would like to do that to but some past experiments didn't look as good!
