Armslist and GunsAmerica are somewhat good references, but folks tend to overvalue what they have before settling down for what it's worth. Armslist is notorious for this as this is generally private sales. Not all sellers mind you, but a lot put up a higher price and come down as time goes by or will settle for less when contacted.

Gun shops online like Buds or J&G Sales tend to have relatively close to market prices for new guns.

Problem is gun prices tend to depreciate and folks have a hard time understanding they are little different than cars in that regard. Most try to get out of their investment what they put in, but don't take into account that even though it has seven rounds through it, it's still "used." Just like that "like brand new" Toyota that has 150 miles on it, it's still "used."
Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.

That is a tough one....i <assume> that you are only focusing on a few models and calibers, go to some gun stores that sell used and see what they are charging compared to a new gun....this will give you a rough percentile to work with. See how much extra magazines cost etc. Got a smart phone and you can quickly look up those extras on it while you are negotiating. I would focus more on having a percentile, say you know what the new price is but you set your limit to 75% of new price or lower. Now if it comes with all kinds of bells and whistles that will surely impact the price.
