Anyone have experience with this pistol. I need something small enough for cc. I'm looking at 9mm cause I already have one and plenty of ammo to feed it.

Honestly the reviews arent that great. Issues of jams and double feeds from what i can find amd people have told me i considered it before i found that out. Kahr offers cm9 cw9 k9 km9 p9 and a pm9 which all are the same size on different price levels p and pm series being your high quality gun and cm cw being your economically friendly price gun.
Whats the point of having and not knowing how to use? You dont have a car and not know how to drive it do you? Having the tools for the job is worthless with out the knowledge of how to use it!

I pawed one of those, and the Ruger LCP-9 I ended up with a KAHR CM-9 sub compact. I really like this shootin' iron. Check it out. The Ruger was just to PC for me, and I don't know enough about Tauarus.

The closest we have is the Millenium Pro PT-111...essentially the double-stack version of the 709. No feed or ejection problems, easy to conceal. Additional magazines are a bit pricey, but we only get OEM for that platform. The Heine sights take a little getting used to, but as my wife says "just build a snowman with 'em"...

I have been looking at the Khar CM9 too. Went to Bass Pro and got to hold the 709 and i really liked how it felt. i need to find a local store that has the khar so i can see how it feels.

A co-worker had one and no matter what ammo he ran it jammed. He was going to bring it to me to look at and work on but got so frustrated that he just got rid of it. Thats the only experience i've had with them. My thought was to bad because its reasonably priced

How many rounds has your friend fired through it? It takes 200 to break it in, according to Khar.

Hey Irish, I've got the 740 in 40 cal. I love the little bugger..... :o)
While I've only fired around 200 rounds through it, have had no troubles at all. And that with 4 different loadings ranging from mild to hot, 165 to 180 grain bullets. I'm certainly satisfied with it.

It was probably no more than 150 but I dont know and he's out of town right now to ask. He tried 5 different types and still had most of the ammo when he sold it. Didnt seem to matter on ball or HPs, still jammed. He loved the way it felt and carried but said he just couldnt trust it
I was talking about the Tarus too not the Kahr

Glad to hear yours is working good. Reading the reviews online it looks like they work great or they don't. I would think they have been out long enough now that they have fixed the issues that plagued it early on.

I have one that I bought for my wife. When we split I kept it and have maybe 250 rounds through it. The only issue I had was one time it failed to load but it was the mag spring hung up and turned the rounds facing upward. Other than that I have had no problems with it and enjoy the feel and shooting it.
