    Gun Rights Group Participates In Chicago Gun Turn-In, Uses Money For Shooting Camp

    A downstate gun rights group turned dozens of firearms for the city's gun turn-in program last month, and used the $6,000 in proceeds to send a group of young shooters to a camp hosted by the National Rifle Association.

      $100 for a used bb gun not a bad deal, or a rusty broken gun. I'm sure if we ask around we might come up with some to turn in next time and donate the money....that would show them...hehe

            they were picky about what they took down here at one. I had a very old, out of a fire,rusted,broken in places grendal 380.
            They didnt give us the full 100$ gift card because it "didnt really work".....

            but dang sure enough on the local TV they would show teh reporter holding an Ar15 airsoft " these are the type of weapons the drive is getting off the street......"...go figure..

                I wish they still gave cash instead of gift certificates here.

                I have an RG .22 that I bought new when I was 13, it cost $26.

                I'd gladly take the profit and put it towards a nicer gun. ;)
