Holster recommendation

Folks, my brother sold the XDM .40 and got a XDM Compact 45 3.8.
What are some of your recommendations for a holster. Not something Gucci or Prada, just a less than $40 that can be worn concealed. Main reason for the switch is to have something compact to conceal.

I can relay your thoughts and suggestions to him.

I use a Remora holster for my Kahr PM 45. It works well for me. I tried using a Remora for my full sized XD 45 and it was hidden well but was a problem when you try to sit down!!!

Fobus holster works real well for me, and CDNN has Israeli Mil holster that is like the Fobus

I like my Uncle Mike's holster for IWB carry. It's comfortable for me.
Hubby found me a Texas Hold-Ums holster which is actually not really a gun holster, just worked out to be perfect for my mouse gun. Clip it on my waist when we're riding. Room for my cell phone and extra magazine in the front pocket.

Comptac, Bladetec, and Crossbreed are some of the holsters that I have used and highly recommend.

They are a little above your $40 budget. Buy once - cry once.

I now use the 511 CC teeshirt. It ran$50 and is real comfortable to wear. You can carry your sidearm on the left or right. I hardly know that they thee under my arm. They abric is a spandex blend and very breathable I wear a button up shirt over it. I carry large frame Glocks or Colt 45.

Those are the ones I have experience with in your price range. Not crazy about leather holsters especially in hot humid weather. These days the holster I use the most is an IWB appendix holster I made from kydex. Material is cheap and pretty easy to work with. Lots of easy to follow how-to vids on utube.
