AK mag loader

so i got a chance to take the new ak for a walk yesterday and after loading several mags my thumb feels like its broke.
What do you folks use to help load the ak mag? Any favorites? Any ones to stay away from?

Went up to our cabin for the first time this spring, everthing was ok. didn't find any shed antlers but saw a couple hundred Elk still pretty low in the valley.

I use my fingers not my thumbs for AK mags. It takes me longer I think though, because I have to take my pushing hand off the mag every time, while the other hand holds it.
I've had a lot of people tell me the Mag-lulas are good. I will probably get one of those because unloading them is a wicked huge pain in the tuckus.
I've also seen nifty wiz bang devices that can push a whole mag worth of ammo at once. Never used one though. There was a guy advertising them here on this board for AR mags. It would load 20 rounds at once. He said that sooner or later they would develop an AK mag loader too.

I have the Maglula UpLULA Pistol Magazine Loader and the Maglula LULA Magazine Loader for my AKs. They both work beautifully and have saved me a lot of skin on my fingers. They are also available for the AR-15s. The pistol loader can be used with a wide variety of pistol magazines. I highly recommend them!

I've used the AR version of the Lula and it works great. Little longer to load than unload, but it does save time and fingers.

If the AK version is the same as the AR version, you can't go wrong.

NC-Star makes a nifty one that loads 10 rounds at a time from SKS strippers, which are cheap. Doesn't help with unloading, but the trigger will do that ;-) MUCH faster than the Lula as it loads 10 at a shot as quick as you can drop the strippers in place.

That sounds similar to the chinese ak mag loaders we used to get in the early 90's. They were the ones with the star on the side. :)
