PSA Rifles and kits

PSA (Palmetto State Armory) out of South Carolina had a great sale around Christmas time.
I had a friend buy one of their M4 kits and bring it to me to assemble the lower parts kit and stripped lower.

It went together with no problems and the fir and finish was second to not other kits I have worked on. Very nice and it looks like I will have to order one of these for myself.

I saw today they are getting ready to release a 7.62 rifle anytime now. The other forum I saw this on has a note from them saying June 2012 sale time.

Now I have to save up for one of these too.

I am just about finished with my M14 kit build, and getting ready to go out and test fire it, but now I may sell it and build the AR style 7.62 instead.

Really wish these inconsiderate companies would stop coming out with new stuff that I just have to have.

They are killing me here. Or maybe that is the wife wanting to kill me because I keep getting new stuff. HA!HA!HA!

When PSA first burst onto the AR scene, they were my go to supplier of most things ammo and AR related due to their quality, prices, and shipping time. They've been growing by leaps and bounds, but sadly, their customer service, QA, and shipping times have suffered terribly. They've also revised their pricing on their uppers. They are now a bit more expensive than they used to be.

I've also seen first hand reports of AR uppers shipping as single shot pieces. They were assembled without gas tubes installed and were not test fired before being shipped.

I think I'll wait on any further purchases from PSA until they get their growing pains sorted out.

I have become a PSA Fan Boy because of their price, quality and customer service. They did $50 million in sales last year and are growing by leaps and bounds. Yes, there have been growing pains but they have taken care of the instances immediately.

I have and will continue to spend my money with them and recommend them to others.
