Just a quick feedback (without pics for the moment, sorry) about the service I recently got from Larue Tactical. I have no financial interest in the company as a disclaimer.
Ordered a set of back up iron sights, sling and Ergo grip for a new rifle I recently purchased from Larue. Their prices were pretty competitive with others I had found and saw their customer service was pretty highly rated. So I figured I'd take a chance and place a smaller order for a first time order as I typically do.
Long story short, I set my account up, made my order and noticed they had a .mil discount (also have a discount for police as well). Sent in the requested e-mail and waited for the response. Within a half an hour, I got a reply saying my account was set up for the discount and to go ahead and order. After hitting the submit button, I get an e-mail within an hour saying my order had been processed and my package had already been shipped. Time from start was only about two hours. Two hours to process and put a package out the door.
Pretty fast there folks. However, UPS sucks and somehow takes three days to travel between Austin Texas and Oklahoma City so I had to eagerly await. But still, they are better than USPS lol.
Anyhow, the package arrived today and I not only found the items I ordered (sling, BUIS and grip) but their traditional Larue "extras." Pocket Constitution, Larue tactical hat, bottle of "Dillo Dust," sniper competition DVD, couple of bumper stickers and the obligatory "Dillo" beverage entry tool. Kind of neat extras tossed in which they didn't have to, but apparently have become their trademark in the business for doing.
So I was treated very well for a first time customer and from most accounts even long time customers gets the same treatment. I'll certainly be buying again when the need arises since the online reviews say Larue builds a bulletproof product that doesn't break. But if it happens to, they replace free of charge, full lifetime warranty.
By and large, it's nice to see a company out there that genuinely cares about the customer and believes in fast service. Larue Tactical made a customer out of me for certain on future purchases.
