  • here is a good one

So I have a Colt M-4 22lr that I bought for training purposes (don't get one, buy the M&P)

I bought some colibri to shoot - For all of you that don't know its a really low power 22 that turns your rifle into a pellet gun

Anyway, I've shot this stuff before out of a rifle - We used it in my back yard when I lived in the city

So here is the reason for this post - First round, click, something sorta happened

Guess what? the bullet didn't exit the barrel

Yep - one shot and I was done for the day with that riffle because I didn't have a rod with me to punch the lead out of the barrel

I blame this entirely on the rifle and not the round - I've had nothing but problems with it since I bought it used

At least you had the knowledge to not pull the trigger again.

That being said, I've heard some not so good things about the M4-22, so I bought a dedicated Armalite .22LR upper during their Twelve Days of Armalite sale. Other than coming with a plastic charging handle, I'm very happy with it. No malfunctions whatsoever with everything from Wally World Remington bulk to SSS.

I joked with the guy I was shooting with - "I bet if I fire a full house round out of it that will push the blockage out"

He just about grabbed the rifle out of my hand - lol

Why do you blame the rifle for the round not having enough juice to make the bullet leave the barrel?

Similar thing happened with a CAR15 and a Colt Match Hbar, both standard .223 with me on numerous ocassions. Luckily the round fired, but the shell casing stuck. The first one in the CAR was at an "inopportune" time and I was stupid and did not have a sidearm with me, let's just say I needed a working firearm at the time.
