Has anyone got any experience with the Primary Arms micro dot sights?

I am looking at these to put on both my M4 and a new AR for my son.

I am currently running an older Compm2 on my M4.

Does the micro dot cowitness with the riser and has anyone had any trouble specifically?

I have one that looks like the T-1/H-1 (Primary Arms MD-09 mounted on their quick release riser). It is a lot better that the SIG branded sight I bought that cost me more money.

The dot is well defined and has held it's circular shape. No obvious point of aim shift after 700 plus rounds of mostly of .223. It briefly lived on my 870 with no apparent ill effects. It holds zero when removed and replaced as well as my real H-1. There are some minor reflections I notice when looking through the sight that I don't see on my H-1.

The dot on mine co-witnesses in the lower third of the FOV.

As you know, the real item runs forever on a single battery, the Primary Arms sight is good for maybe 100 hrs. I don't know how tough it really is, but for a training scope I think it is excellent. I would hesitate to actually take it into SHTF, but as long as you have backup Irons perhaps it is not really critical.

you should look at the TRS-25 by Bushnell. its in the same price range as the PMA Micro. I have one on an ultimak rail on my AK and its held up to 1k rounds off ammo and its had boiling hot water poured on it several times. UTG makes a little riser that works with it for a co witness on an AR. Some one on arfcom did a long term battery test on one and got 2400 hours with it set to 5. I did a 2 part video review on mine.
