  • Add another tool to your toolbox!!

    Enjoy!!

I have a cheap light/laser combo that works fine (does not fit a holster) but it is RED laser. Is there an advantage to the green over the red.

But I really like the idea Auto On/Off feature of that Viridian. I need to look into those.

    Thanks,

Boy got me a green laser for Christmas for the AR. The advantage is that you can still/also see it with red dot sights as a co-witness sight.

Its actually one of those double edged blades kind of thing. Much better light identification then the red, BUT, its so good you can actually see the beam not just the contact point. Which means the bad guys know exactly where you are as well...

Remember, always think OUTSIDE the box...

But yes I like the auto on when you unholster as well...

Personally I like turning in on /off with remote switch, instead of auto on. I turn it on after I'm ready to aquire target and in position for the shot.

I know when we tried them in Iraq, the green laser was visible farther than the red on the side of a hanger over a mile away at night. Never got to try them in the daylight to see if we could see them then.

My husband and I went to a gun show yesterday and we found the gun i wanted to buy (Glock 19 Gen 3). It was a good price, so we bought it. Next we saw the Viridian Green laser. All I can say is I want one!
It's pretty cool. It can be set to turn on automatically when you unholster your weapon and turn off when you reholster you weapon. They don't (yet) have a holster that would fit the Glock 19 with the laser, but I was told the company should have them available in about three months. This definitely goes on my with list.

Well, I suppose. After I get set up with the Glock and get real comfortable with it, I want a long gun. I have no idea which one yet. I blame it all on my husband and our friends. Really, it's not my fault! :-)

Yeah, but in this case it's a good thing :-) Besides it gives my husband something to brag about at work.

You dont know which one,... because you really want 2 or more! Its like your at the store looking at shoes is it not... You are looking at several shoes and want all of them but trying to narrow down to 1... Give up buy a couple then figure out which one goes with your shirt or self defensive needs best. Keep the other for back up or trade for something new.

For me I wear wool or other practical shirts so it is a standard AR (no fancy attachments) or M1A/M14 that usually goes well with my outfit, but you know if might require a custom WA 2000 to complete your look. http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sniper-r...wa-2000-e.html

Or you might like to look like dress like Columbian Drug Lord and need P90 http://www.fnhusa.com/le/products/fi...009&gid=FNG006

Of course being a women you might change your look all the time and need whole safe full of guns.
