a few months back i discovered the newest and best thing in tuckable holster. Whitehat holster's out of Texas makes the Maxx Tuck. its available in cow hide, or horse hide. you can get BOTH dyed in several different colors(unlike most similar companies that only offer dyed cow hide). mine took about a week of wearing it constantly to break in. at that point i dont even notice i'm wearing it. i did use, and personally suggest a coating of mink oil, or other leather conditioner.
here's the big thing that drew me to Whitehat. Their kydex. they offer theri kydex in a slew of different colors, patterns, and pictures. i have yet to find any other company doing this. and to make it even better, you can SWAP the kydex. there is no longer a need to have seperate holster for each and every CC gun you have and carry. one leather, and multiple kydex. no more spending $60-$80 dollars per holster. each additional kydex is $7-$15 dollars. with about 1 minutes work, and a flat head screwdriver you can swap your kydex, and be carrying a different gun. plus you can have different colors or patterns for each.
the clips are a good strong clip with no markings, or identifyable icons(crosses, etc) that can identify what you have. they are plenty long to allow a true "tuck" of your shirt. to many brands have clips that are too short for a real tuck which leads to your shirt coming untucked on one side when you dont want it to. you can adjust the clips up and down inorder to adjust the depth, and cant of your carry. DO THIS. YOU WILL BE SURPRIZED HOW MUCH IT MAKES YOUR CARRY MORE COMFORTABLE!
delivery time was only 8 days for me. this is incredible because my crossbreed took 8 WEEKS. i like my crossbreed, but i love my Maxx Tuck from Whitehat.
