Well I just sent an email to my congressman to vote in favor of this.

I remember a post where someone had commented about Illinois citizens not having the right to CCW....well this could very well help us Illinois folks get CCW. Chicago is dictating to the rest of the state and we are sick of it....so please call your rep.

I have been watching NRA News, and every night Cam keeps reminding the listeners to do the same. In fact I got an email a week or two ago from my local TEA Party asking us to do the same. hopefully the phones and emails are burning up.

Actually, it won't help you get CCW in IL. Page 4 of the doc, Section 926D, para (a) (1) and (2)

@Grand - thanks for the clarification. IMO it would still be a good thing. Wish I could vote out Chicago, that will be the only way I am afraid. Still wish we could annex it to Canada.

I doubt they'd take it. Kind of like Tennessee trying to give away Memphis to Arkansas for several decades now. For some reason, they just don't think we're serious lol
