Side Folding or Telescoping Stock?

that folder is pretty crappy. the whole thing is plastic including the hinge. its pretty wobbley. the folder SNARE uses is all steel and very tough. while i'm not fond of the cheek weld on the romanian side folders they are pretty much indestructible. i know a guy who put one on a saiga 12 and it was wobbly. I've even told a tapco rep they need to make the hinge out of steel.

The T-6 on the other hand is pretty decent. I know someone who stuck one on a chi com ak and then took that rifle to about 12 classes over 3 years and didn't bend or break it.
i used mine for about 6 or 8 months and over all i like it. it has 2 short commings and they are the screws it comes with are really too short they tend to work loose every 5-600 rounds. replacing them with longer screws fixes that. the other is the sling swivl on the side is made of plastic and it can break. i know i broke one. paracord is your friend

Yes, everyone said the Tapco stock was crap, wouldn't last, blah blah blah.

It held up fine for probably 10K rounds.

I liked the look of the Magpul triangle looking stock and I had seen one at a class in Houston, so I went that route. No problem after about a year and a half or so on that.

The Kat is fixing to get one on her Arsenal as the stock is just a little long (European cut) for a women's shorter arms.

The main benefit of a side folder to me, is for concealability. For most situations though, I prefer to be able to adjust the overall length of the stock. I've got a VLTOR adapter with a Magpul CTR stock on my #1 gun, and a Mako Defense adapter with a Magpul MOE stock on my #2 gun. Love them both. The Mako/MOE combo is definitely the more cost efficient of the two setups.

Paracord is my friend indeed!
I use it to attach my sling to my buttstock at the neck, where it attaches to the receiver.

I have it buckled, and worked knots over the buckle too. I'll have to see about takin' a picture of that.

I've got an ACE side folder. Love it. The M4 stock on the AK looks like A$$ (IMO).

So, would it be safe to say that if I plan on using the WASR in the vehicle, it's better to go with a sidefolder, but if I plan on using it in the field, getting a collapsable stock is mo' betta?
And for collapsable stocks, the Tapco T6 is adequate, but an AR-15 stock with an adaptor is better?
