9mm ammo heads up at wal-mart

made my weekly wallmart trip for the usual crap I buy when I spotted this in the ammo cabinet:



$19.97!!! its a 100 round value pack of federal champion 9mm 115 grn fmj. i've had good luck with that ammo in cz and xd from the 50 round boxes but that ammo went from 9.97 to 11.97 earlier this year. thank you Barak Obama.

so i bought a box of the 100 round VP.



upon opening I found 2 neatly packaged 50 round boxes









looks like good stuff!

That's good news. The Winchester white box went up to $24.99 a 100 up my way....

As much as I shoot 9mm this was starting to curtail my training ammo purchases.

$20. is MORE than fair for 100 rounds of 9mm IMO, (You listening Ammo Manufacturer Execs? LOL)

yeah thats why i was excited and decided to grab a box. my CZ won't extract the WWBVP (the XD shoots it fine) so I never buy it but with all the 50 round boxes at $11.97-13.97 a box the 19.97 per 100 is bargin. basically you can get 2500 rounds of this stuff for the price of 2000 rounds of the other stuff.

does wal-mart limit the amount of ammo purchased still? we just had a new wal-mart open up in virginia I will check them out thanks for the heads up!!
