I haven't seen this asked before, so here goes. I'm a new Glock owner having carried a 1911 before RH was born. The G19 came with a 10 rd. mag and a 15 round mag, or so it says. I decided to put something other than round nose in the 15 rounder and found that I could only get 11 in the mag. I took it apart, looked it over, no problems, reassembled and 11 rounds again. It is an original Glock mag, not a reasonable facsimile. It has 15 little holes in the back, all numbered 1-15. How do I get all the chiclets into the chiclet dispenser or is this just a cruel Austrian joke? BTW, yes I'm old, and yes I have the chiclet installer. The 1911 mags are much easier to load.

could be your states laws....or a ban era pistol.
i load my 17's mags to 14-15 anyway...as even with the glock mags, ive had ones full. that bind up the slide..theres no wiggle room and the slide binds on the top round( yeah i know im beinga limp wristed painsy)...but had it happen 2-3 times when i 1st got the gun , so its habit now to only put 15 in there.i'll have to load one up full next range day...coulda been just cuz it was new back then. who knows.Hey Petunia...you dropped your man pad!

I have had several new glock mags that were hard to load the last 3 or 4 rounds in, had to break out that loader which came with both my 17 and 19 to finish the job. The last round I never thought I was going to get in without breaking the loader. These were new factory glock mags. My friend said he has also ran across a few of these over the past few years aswell. Once I cycled the mags several times it was still hard to load the last few rounds. I read on Glock talk that if you load it to either 15 (or 17) rounds let it sit filled for a month or two and it will loosen up a bit. I did this and no more problems. YMMV

I used to be a 1911 man myself....but living in a sandy blast furnace enviroment changed me..I started using the glock 17 back in 05....I am now totally a glock man...gun has never failed me yet ( i use one for a living)...everytime I pull the trigger it goes bang...can't beat em. As far as the mag goes your not going to break or bend it...I have never heard of a defective mag but its possible...it could also be a misprint mag..like it was a 10 rounder but it has 15 holes in the back...anyways contact Glock and tell them your story send it in and they will send you a new one they stand behind their product...also I have now bought and used the KCI mags from Korea...they work awesome and are half the price....I pay 15 a piece for the 9mm mags...well worth buying some for backupsThe strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
