It is probably an A2-style Rifle... While it is not made by a maker known for top of the line AR's, it also doesn't have the top of the line price either ($700), so the only way to know is to shoot it... If it shoots reliably, then you did OK... Then you can check out the other AR-specialty forums for more info and things to look for. AR15.com is popular but also full of know it all/know nothings... M4Carbine.net is a place to learn from some of the best, but be warned, they do not have patience for questions that have answers in the FAQ's and other sticky posts. Many are professional shooters and will slam you if you don't read first and ask questions second...

cowboy, I have a $700 AR by a different brand. To be honest, I love it. With over 1000 rounds through it I have had 0 FTE and only 1 FTF. The FTF was not the guns fault, but a problem with an operator head space error.Pray for Obama, Psalms 109:8. Before you judge me, look it up.
I think my tin foil is too tight.

Centry arms makes a good product. My buddy bought one several months back paid the same price as you and it has been flawless. My father just picked up a DPMS and it ran $757 out the door it has a few extras on it but man I love that DPMS.When an emergency is upon you the time for preparation has past.

alot of those centurys are made with surplus m16 parts built on new production recievers. usually you get the good stuff like a chrome bore magnetic partical checked and 5.56 mm barrels. check your barrel i bet it says something like colt MPI 1/7 or 1/2 5.56mm"You are the Vice Regent of the Jews" -QRPRAT77
