AK reliable handgun

What handgun out there has the same ruggedness as the AK?

I am referencing the ability to cover it in sand and slop it through mud ruggedness and still fire.

Glock can there are plenty of tests that have been done and my own personal experience if you will accept that. There are others as well.

My vote is for the 1911 45 cal colt and the Glock. If you look on youtube.com, there is a great video on trashing a glock that will astound you. The guy packs it in mud, salt, sand, drops it from an airplane and even shoots it with another gun...never cleans it and it still functions as designed!

colt 1911 .45 for rugedness. it served for along time, if that tells you anything

I teach CCW and have had many different kind of guns come through my classes. I personaly own 16 different handguns with one being a Wilson Combat Tactical Supergrade (I believe one of the best 1991's made). Without a doubt I can say the Glock is the most dependable and reliable gun made.
