    I like cookies.

Put 100 rounds through it yesterday. Runs like a champ. First time I've shot a carbine since I broke my wrist. Still hurts a bit, and I wasnt able to really lock down on the gun like I normally would, but its much better than it was, anc continuing to improve. Felt good to get behind the trigger again. Might as well post these...I know there are at least two people here who want to gloat.

Sorry I missed this when you first posted it. Not completely sure.....did some horse trading with my dealer/friend with one of my AR's.

No sir. Just did what I always have done....wiped it off really good with a dry rag, and then went to spraying.

Hawkeye, I can't be sure, but you looked taller, stronger and more manly in that video than I remember you previously... ;)

I know this might stir the pot a little but my M16 in basic never jammed (Vietnam Era - full rock-n-roll) and the only time my weapon even came close to jamming in my full time unit was when we were qualifying up north in the dead of winter and wind blew snow into my chamber and froze the bolt. Couldn't get it slide forward until we got back to post. So no jams due to FTE/FTF on my M16.

Oh wait I did have an FTE with a blank on my M16 when we were using the MILES gear but not with FMJ Ammo.

Nice looking rifle thanks for sharing the vid! Hope that wrist gets better.

My issued M16's were always 100 reliable, and my AR's have all be reliable as well. I still love the AR platform, and I think its a fine weapon. However, I've decided that for me, the AK is a better choice. I'll probably do a post about why, sometime in the near future.

Like Sgl21-61 said. I would love to hear your reasons. I have a friend (ex-LEO) that swears by the AR. One day I'll convince him to come to the dark side. LOL

I put that same stock on one of mine a few months ago. Have only had about 500 rounds through it so far- I've been working with another rifle getting used to a dot type sight. But the stock has held up well.

VLTOR and Magpul both make outstanding products. They should both last indefinitely.

How do you like the Manticore flash suppressor so far? I have been looking at putting one of those on one of my AKs, from what I heard they do an amazing job. Nice vids!
