I have the 930 also and I'm very happy with it. To go along with ibetiny's post is that if I'm just out plinking with it, I'll use low brass field loads, but otherwise it likes high brass a lot better. Sometimes it'll cycle low brass without a problem, but it always cycles high brass.

I have a 930. LOVE IT. The only thing you have to watch out for is low recoil shells. Not all lower powered shells will cycle the action. If you stay with any 3" or at least 2 1/2" mag shells you should be fine, field loads are iffy. Just remember this is a combat gun, not for shooting light field loads at a rabbit. If you were closer I would let you shoot it to see how it feels. It's accurate, feels good, the ghost ring sights are nice.

Well, it looks like Keltec has come up with a way to choose between either slugs or buckshot! My understanding is it is just barely long enough to be legal and with 14 rounds in two side by side magazine, BOOM! How long do any of you think it will take the Marines and other services to clean out their current inventory and back order the next year or so of their production?

I like the other posters have a Mossberg 500 Persuader. I love it, 20 inch barrel and it holds 8 shells. plus the mossberg 500 along with the Remington 870 has the most aftermarket parts and accessories of any other shotgun models. I stagger my shells in the tube between slugs and 00 buckshot. mine leans up against the night stand just in case it is needed. i pray that i never will need it
