  • ain't no way no bullet going. we got 30 acres!

i'm trying to decide how to title this.
2nd amendment... or folks enjoying their rights.... or be careful where you shoot.... or ?how far does a .50 round go? or will a .50 go through some tires?
or ? from the producers viewpoint.... right after the .50 goes bang/bang... "we got 30 acres here... there ain't no way! or ?whatever message the video shares!

i'm not qualified to answer the questions or comment... so just relaying the video.

Favorite line- "cops are back and these a $hitload of them" LOL

Just empty tires? Not a good idea.

And "black Rambo" there when he was getting jiggy wit it one handed on the 60 was clearly angling up a good bit.

At our range we cut into a hill, making a hard L into the hill. It's about 12 feet from the bottom to the top. Then for the occasional dunskie I bermed a couple feet ON TOP of the hill as well.
The target racks are built about 6 feet high (of the 12 foot height of the hill) and we always place targets low. On top of that, there is NOTHING for a mile or more straight shoot over that berm in case I miss some dunskie putting rounds over the berm.

What's interesting in the video is the amount of Class III weapons in use. Folks should note that.

A little off-subject, but… I live in the mountains. Most lots here are on 1-5 acres, heavily wooded. My across the street neighbor has 40+ acres that backs up to another 40+ acres. Both have their own ranges, sometimes I hear 3-round bursts, they practice a lot. Some of our out-of-town neighbors complain, but the police tell them it’s ok unless they come onto your property. UNTIL, a few weeks ago, large caliber fire followed by explosions. Tannerite I assumed, but a lot of it. It shook windows 1/2 mile away. The police were called by more than one neighbor and the police told them that if they had to come out again, problems would begin. Be mindful of your neighbors.

We have a few like that around our place and near our range property.

One always "answers", without fail. You know, some other 'neck is shootin so you gots to grab your rifle and let a few rounds off also to "answer."

Another one in the area that is friendly, likes to impress his kids with the t word stuff. I know the guy so he will usually text me and let me know, which is nice. We kinda help look after his place and he has forgotten to let me know he got there before and started shooting. We kinda figured someone was messing around there so we went over there. He texts now to save us a trip.

A couple weeks back we heard a shot and a zip. If you know what that sounds like then you know what it is. The wife recognizes it as well. We stayed inside for a few thinking maybe there would be more then she said "let's ride around and see if we can see who's shooting." This was a single shot and from the sound came from a specific area. We rode through that area on our SBS but couldn't see anyone out shooting. Perhaps a bubba taking a poor shot at a deer. But we don't usually get zips.

I don't have a gun range on my property, but Camp Blanding does and we're close enough to hear a lot of their firing exercises. Head northwest and there's the state forest, where hunters abound and I can hear them shooting too. I don't duck! I can tell that both places are far enough away to not make it to my place...
