    movie, not a book.
    I wasn't sure where to put this comment.

    movie came out in 2006.
    1920's
    irish fought against the English ruffians who were occupying Ireland.
    some irish were traitors against their own.
    then a peace... of sorts but Ireland stayed subject to England.
    then some irish objected and irish fought against irish.

    brother killed brother.
    all sides were sure that their "side" was righteous.

    I recommend it.

    made me think of civil war on this side of the atlantic.

    iirc i think i watched this..not a bad flic. refresh me,,it the one with the white farm house,,the girl who lives there and the jail break with lots of 303 action close in?
