I agree. Cow Battles is more fundamentally educating, but this is more fun to read!

I kind of ran out of ideas at this point, (well I didn't) rather, hm.. Too many and not enough time to sort them out. Landed a new job in a bad economy, holidays... and hoping next week I get to go back o writing :)

Boyd, your style is a lot different that what I have read. It took some getting used to (the first person, jumping around bit), but it was different and refreshing. Kudo's to you.

              Thanks RM!

Hoping to pick this up again.. I started this series after my kids started reading some of the more popular "vampire" stuff out there, and I am a night of the living dead fan.... I haven't given up on this story line.. but don't know if I should let it die here, or go beyond Flint Mi... As it is, Flint is already a dead town with no hope, full of real life zombies, a few good folk, no hope, no escape.

Also reason I don't use a lot of specifics, is I started writing this one for the entertainment of my 13 year old ;) Bugging me to finish.. But.... Having fun with anther story line atm.

I have always advised my children not to mistake having manners and being polite as being a sign of weakness. An individual with strength and confidence in him/herself will naturally be mannered and gracious to others.

I love your closing quote. I have used it when talking to my children. It reminds me of my grandfathers. I hope that my children can grow up to be just like them. Confidence, graciousness and manners. These things are greatly lacking in our society today.

Very cool. I am over 50% done with my book KE-12 featuring the DOZD. (Department of Zombie Defense). http://www.departmentofzombiedefense.com/ check out the website. The first thing you see on the site is a picture of the squad with Max Brooks the writer of World War Z. Keep writing my friend.
