If your not familiar with the name, Ragnar Benson has a boatload of survival related books under his belt including "The Survival Retreat", "The Modern Survival retreat", "Live off the land in the city and country" and many others, all of which should be in your library.
He had written anything survival related in a while.
Survival End game- the 21st century solution, is his newest book and it's great.
In this book he kinda goes through and describes how the current situation is playing itself out in a way unlike any of the other scenarios most of us ever envisioned "back in the day." Still with Benson's realistic outlook though- you won't find any fairy tales about "organizing your subdivision" or that you can make it in the big city around 500,000 unprepared people. This is still Benson, who has been living this life for 50 years, almost twice as long as I have.
The book is not for the faint of heart or those looking for a "quick fix" to the prepping solution. Benson burns a lot of sacred cows by telling you things like you really need food storage or a resupply plan to last you at LEAST 4-6 years, perhaps a decade. The necessity of homesteading and a proper food production plan is hereby reiterated.
This book isn't a rehash of other materials he's written.
