Haven't read his fiction but read "Contact!" and it is a MUST READ for any serious survivalist.

I need to order the Patriot Dawn book.... All the family is asking me what I want for Christmas, well that's gonna be one of the answers!

I have Patriot Dawn. Its a good fictional read. There are some good nuggets that can be taken from it, you just have to be able to recognize them when you see/read them.

I think the problem was my limited ability with a technical device... someone on this board would say something like.
" see. I told you. learn to use it now. before it becomes critical."
anyhow, I read elsewhere that several folks successfully downloaded the entire book. I tried a couple of times, and all I got was the first couple of chapters.
bottom line. I think kindle/velocity made a great offer. I just wasn't able to download it.

have patriot dawn and contact both, They are good reads. Personally LD I think you started in the right order. Contact first then patriot dawn that way you get the tactical foundation first and patriot dawn adds "color" to it. Little spoiler for you though you are going to be pissed at the ending in patriot dawn. Im busier than a cat in room full of rockin chairs right now so if nobody else gets to it maybe I will do a review on Patriot Dawn. AFTER I do Warrior Mindset, expect this in a day or two..
