City of the Dead - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fiction

Story about a 13 year old surviving a vampire/zombie apocalypse while trying to figure out the most necessary things in life.. Guns, Girls, what ammo to use...

Not sure if there is any interest on this message board for this type of fiction, but so far I've got about 9k words written 30 some pages. If interested let me know and I'll start posting some chapters.

Hoping to shop this later in the year when I try to finish and polish it as a short story.

I guess I should also mention it is something I am writing for a younger kids age group, so things are deliberately vague and the violence is watered down. My daughters love vampire stories, my boys love zombie ones, so trying to write something I wouldn't be afraid to let the lil ones read :)

Sorry, haven't been around the house much :) My oldest daughter is getting her own apartment today so we've been rushing about making sure she has everything she needs.
