Looking for "Lost in Alabama" chapters 53+ by LostNBama.

I having been reading the Lost in Alabama story chapters 1-52 for about a week.

And I am now looking for chapters 53+. Anyone can help? Thanks

It has been a great read. My compliments to the author.

I believe the rest has to be bought. The author ended up publishing the book (and I think it has a different name) and that's where the remainder is available at.

Let me check my back e-mails, I think I have something from him.

Thanks Grand. I'm 52 chapters invested. I certainly don't mind buying the book. Appreciate anything you can find on author and book title.

I believe he published that book, like all the others, he probably can't have the "freebee" version floating around on the web now.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

Understandable. Looking to buy the book if I can find the author and book title. Thanks

Just in case others are interested, the book is by Jeff Stanfield and the new published name is "The Collapse."

              It's a huge book IIRC.

I would like to read an excerpt. Is there a place to read to piece of the book to see if I would like to order a copy?

Not sure, often times wherever a book like that is sold, it has a preview type feature that allows you to see a few pages. Amazon does that IIRC.

You can read a preview on Amazon.com. The reviews of it knock it down from 5 stars to 3 or 4 stars due to the lack of editing and proof reading. While that is bothersome, you can get past it because it is really a good story line.

Jeff is a good storyteller with a great imagination. His writting style is a bit different because he tells it in the first person. By that I mean he tells it in the first person from several members of many different groups (ie FEMA, National Guard, Law Enforcement, farmers, children, etc.). It makes it a very insightful story.

It is a very long book and is quite the "page turner". I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

I spoke with him about that specifically. He mentioned the publisher used an old copy instead of his revised works. And in his contract, he would have to pay to get it changed. Later versions will have the up to date spelling/grammer.

Lesson to be learned, always read the fine print in a contract and always have a copy proofread before sending it in to the publisher for their edits.

i read the story on the net... loved it.
especially since a lot of his characters were easily identifiable as folks i knew. a lot of southern qualities.
i didnt know the characters for real.. just easy to visualize folks that i knew that would fit the role.
i'm trying to remember the ending.
                        seems like it shifted gears.
                        highly recommend the story.

Received the book (The Collapse by Jeff Stanfield aka LostNBama) from Amazon today and finished it today. Good story. I would recommend the purchase. I hope Jeff continues writing. He is talented.
