Just finished Survivors the sequel'ish to Patriots. It was ok. I understand what he was trying to do and honestly, I didn't like it. I am not going to be a dunk and ask for my money back but I feel like that.
I guess you really cant follow Patriots up with anything any less than SUPER WAR and Outer Space Destruction.
The last few chapters where all the action took place is very brief and nondescript compared to the first book.
It got really boring and I fell asleep numerous times reading this at night. I had to go back and read chapters because of this. I was really hyped up when I got this. I could have bought more backpacking gear instead.
I dont mean to totally bash it because it was well written but he should have at least had a few more chapters to fill this out.
Grand, I am not going to stroke ya but dude, the last 3 stories I read from you were waaaaay better, some of the better PAW fiction that I have ever read. I think I am going to go back and read Normal, the first version. Still waiting on the new new.
If you are a big Rawles fan, then please, by no means dont let my review tick you off, This is just my opinion. But, this book will go on my library shelf to fill space.
