I can relate to this story. On several occasions I have had the pleasure of teaching my extremely educated oldest daughter little cooking tricks that both fill the massive voids that are her kids with simple but tasty dishes. When I steered her toward learning stir fry cooking she was in heaven. And her brats sucked that stuff down like a black hole sucks matter in general!
