  • freeze dried blood (plasma)

I've now heard a story twice...
    goes something like this..
france is allowing their medics in the battlefield to carry freeze dried blood... (I may be using the wrong specific word blood/plasma/etc) but I think you'll get the idea.

a few u.s. military types have tried it on limited basis. medic pulled out his can of fd blood. put it in his saline pouch and
used it to save warriors life as he was transported to hospital.

just rumors, but I know some of you guys are out there on the medical "edge."

    anything to this?

is it available at your friendly internet survivalist store?

Doesn't look like it's an internet myth.

Maybe JRH will look into selling this.... ;)

The X Stat people were at SHOT this year but in talking to them they made it clear that it's currently just a military item.
