Valley Fever is bad stuff. I know one person that's had it. It took him months to get over it. He could only work half days during that time. I'm not sure what if any meds he was on. He made it through it better than some. No long term effects. It's almost like Lyme disease in terms of symptoms. It could manifest itself in a whole host of ways.
I'm not exactly sure what people are expecting .gov to do about it. Make it rain more? Change their DNA so the fungus doesn't effect them? Evacuate the entire Southwest?
