Have a friend who is type 2. What can be used for Insulin in a SHTF situation?

It depends on the situation. I don't know how well Type 2 can be controlled thru diet only. This one of those things that has been discussed...take care of our bodies and work hard to stay off as much medication as possible. One of those Doomsday Prepper shows had a segment on it with diabetic folks... Their plan was to have a root cellar or something involving a hole in the ground, where the temp was always in the low 50's. They thought their Insulin would keep ok there.Comment
