AWESOME!!!
We trained on chickens we "acquired" from the chow hall for our combat lifesaver course.
One student in the class said he had some luck in practicing on a sponge, but not sure how that would work? Maybe he covered the sponge with some fabric?

I have watched a couple of these before and the ones I watched had some good info. Just like with anything else it takes practice and muscle memory. Practice on pigs feet, get good at it, then turn out the lights and suture by candle or holding your flashlight in your mouth. Also imagine what your patient will do when/if you don't have any local anesthesia.
The same thing holds for IV's. You need to try and get some practice and then try it while in the dark or cramped environment. When I was teaching the local Paramedics, I would give them their kits, turn off the lights and make them start an IV in a small closet with minimal lighting. Then we would go outside and practice starting IV's at night with just a flashlight with the patient laying in the dirt. Using the "sterile" setting for learning is great, but you will not have that luxury in a PAW.Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!
Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!
ATTENTION: No trees or animals were harmed in any way in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were really ticked off!
