American Prescription Website

My doctor is willing to write me prescriptions so I can stock up-thank God! My husband insists we use an American based prescription website but I am having a hard time finding one that doesn't cost and arm and a leg. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I don't think there really is an online pharmacy, especially one that will be cheaper than WalMart! Does your hubby not understand that the pharmaceutical companies sell their products overseas cheaper than they do in the U.S. (cause the U.S. Insurance companies will pay more) which is why the overseas companies are such a deal for the SAME product. Even the same script meds in Canada are at least 40% to 50% cheaper in Canada for the same stuff as in the U.S., but our FDA has closed the door on buying via Canada. All Day Chemist has a great reputation and many, many folks order from them with no problems with the medications. Also know than many, many drugs do NOT need a prescription to obtained, notably antibiotics. Primarily it's the high powered pain meds that require a prescription world wide.

I would like to order overseas but it's our understanding that technically it's illegal to. I've read that the govt doesn't enforce the law if you only buy 3 months worth of prescriptions. My husband is super sensitive to doing anything illegal even though we probably won't get caught or if we did probably nothing would be done. He's works in government security type of job and I think that is why he feels this way.

I have to agree with Goatlady: Depending on what meds you want, both Wal-Mart and Target have a huge list of generic meds that are $4 for a 30 day supply and $10 for a 90 day supply.

If you are dead set on ordering from overseas, I have had good personal experience with buy-pharma.com.

JJ, if it were illegal the packages would never get through customs! That's why Americans can no longer order via Canada - the customs will not allow the packages over the border OR even allow them to be hand carried back in person. Americans CAN purchase and hand carry meds. in from Mexico with no problems. Go figure. Maybe your hubby needs to do a bit more checking on the subject cause 1000s of Americans order every day from overseas pharmacys and if it were illegal our government is missing huge amounts of $$$ in fines on a daily basis.

I have not but I am planning on it....the guy writes articles for JWR for what that's worth. I have emailed him a couple of times and he seems to be very helpful.
